I became a physician 15 years ago. During my third year of medical school, I found my calling to be an OB/GYN. It was really more a burning desire to be a women’s advocate.
As part of my training, I became interested in pelvic reconstruction, so continued additional training in the area of incontinence, prolapse and other pelvic floor defects. Also, I feel very strongly about minimally invasive surgery, so I have a strong inclination towards laparoscopy, and furthermore robotic surgery.
Finally, life has pushed me towards holistic medicine. I practice integrative medicine incorporating clinical nutrition and herbal medicine into my practice. I also help my patient with their primary care management as needed.
Full health is obtained through the mind, body and soul balance.
